Hello, I currently have a server at OVH OVH XL (ubuntu, surgital spa Achache, postfix, PHP5), the problem is that in recent weeks I have a steady increase my visits to big now I turn to 9000 VU day . On the server, several blogs (wordpress) stay (by me or friends). My question would be: what is the limitation of the CPU and RAM (3000MHz and 2Gigas ram) that do this, or simply the lack of BP (I'm Standard series.) Or simply bad config my server ... ca be a bad config server. surgital spa Ca 9000 seems very low for blogs especially if you cache. There probably unwanted saturates the machine process and causes the crash. if you hand over ssh, you can check with the command top and see the charge level.
Thou hast Monitoring Services (cacti or other)? That'll permettrais in the blink of an eye to see or it blocks ... (load increases / CPU / RAM / disk space ...) I am in the opinion of biddybulle mainly concerning non optmisation the apache config but rest also know how VU is the other sites ... A good config and you want easily surgital spa without crash 9000VU PER HOUR (well perhaps not on a OVH: \ and 2GB on the XL) but is still a little margin
Hello, increasing load on time with top I am an average 20% proc 1400Mo ram (normal for linux) What surprises me is that the server time during peak becomes unmanageable and I don ' ais more access to SSH. 9000 saw / day it makes me roughly 40,000 page views per 24 hours. therefore I have a big doubt ... and what worried me is that I can no longer access to SSH to kill. So I think it just peaks clients. What do you think?

It make me think about the problem of excessive log files on release 1 and 2 of OVH if it's every day at the same time (the time of log archiving what).
